Casper the Corpse Flower

On January 10th 2025 'Casper', a rare Titan Arum flower (aka the Corpse Flower due to having an odour of rotting flesh), bloomed at Collector's Corner, a specialist garden retailer in Melbourne. Despite taking approx. 10 years to form, the flower is very short lived, being at its peak bloom for a few hours only. Unlike other Titan Arum flowers that have bloomed recently around Australia with great publicity, the general public were allowed completely unfettered access to Casper.
